Session announcement: Confident leadership

Join this free CPD session at Nursery Managers Show Vol. 2 for tips and tricks to boost your management skills and become a more confident leader.

In Confident leadership, you will receive expert guidance to banish imposter syndrome and help you manage your team with confidence. You will also get tips to handle difficult workplace situations with conviction.

During this free CPD session, you will find out what ‘Barack Obama’ effect is and learn how to harness it. In addition to all of this, you’ll be taught speech and body language tricks that make you appear more confident – even when you don’t feel it!

Who is leading the session?

Sue Kamal is a commercially focused chief people officer and board director with deep experience in change and transformation. Her career spans large complex organisations such as Reuters, Lloyds Bank and Aviva, as well as smaller owner managed companies.

She has been a trusted HR partner to business leaders across Europe, Asia and North America specialising in leadership development, organisation development, talent and performance management. She is also an advanced executive coach, with extensive experience of coaching people at all stages of their careers.

Sue joined Realise, one of the UK’s leading apprenticeship providers, two years ago and has worked with the leadership team to create an inclusive, high performing culture. In 2022, Realise was recognised externally for its people practices and named No.1 Best Workplace for Women in the UK.
