Heidi Dorrington is an accomplished childcare professional with a career spanning over 25 years. Her journey began in nurseries, where she enhanced her skills after qualifying, before transitioning into a 12-year role as a professional nanny. Heidi's dedication and exceptional care earned her the title of 'Professional Nanny of the Year', a demonstration of her dedication to the wellbeing of children in her care.

Building on her experience and accolades, Heidi's career evolved as she took on the role of Area Manager for a group of nurseries across the East of England. Over 13 years, she demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, overseeing operations and ensuring the highest standards of care and education for young children in her care.

Her expertise and industry knowledge paved the way for her current role as Recruitment & Training Manager at Kindred Nurseries. In this position, she is the driving force behind recruitment efforts for the group and actively supports, develops and encourages apprenticeships across the organisation, ensuring that teams are continuously learning and growing. Heidi takes great pride in supporting team members as they advance in their careers, making a positive impact on their professional development.
